Jumpin Rides now has 5,000 registered members using its carpooling platform and services, as announced by its Co-Founder & Managing Director Pauline Du Paty this Monday morning. The milestone means that Jumpin Rides has doubled its audience in less than 3 months.
“As of this morning, the Jumpin Rides community is now officially 5,000 people. We are very proud of what we have achieved so far. We truly believe carpooling is the future of transportation both in South Africa and in other African countries” Pauline du Paty said on Monday.
Jumpin Rides is currently raising R2.5m to expand its team, scale its marketing strategy, improve its technology and expand to new African countries. Jumpin Rides is hoping to reach 150,000 users by the end of 2018.
The carpooling platforms’ strategy relies on building strong partnerships with corporates and events such as festivals and sports gatherings to facilitate access and enable people to experience more of the amazing country that is South Africa.
