We are extremely proud of yet another accomplishment of our leading start-up FinChatBot! This June, Silicon Cape partnered with Square Kilometer Array (SKA) to find Cape Town’s most innovative youth-run and AI-powered business.
The search culminated in the Youth in AI Competition.
The Competition
Organized by the Silicon Cape, the event took place at the creative co-working space Workshop 17. The judges panel included influential members of Cape Town’s start-up ecosystem as well as top engineers from the SKA project. A total of five local disruptive companies were chosen to pitch. Attendees included think tanks, national banks, and of course: techies and geeks from all over! Despite the quality of the pitches, FinChatBot’s unique offering won the judges over to claim the first place.
We are very excited to claim our prize and visit the amazing SKA facility in the Northern Cape.
FinChatBot Growing
FinChatBot has officially set up at AlphaCode in Johannesburg and is looking for leads in Paris to launch its service in Europe. the first chatbot will be live on our clients dedicated webpage soon so make sure to follow FinChatBot on Twitter to see Holly in action!
A Little About FinChatBot
The start-up develops a chatbot platform, Holly, an artificial intelligence available on all devices. We increase insurance companies conversion rates whilst reducing call centre costs. Customer queries pass through an instant messaging platform, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
