As companies grow, they leave the nest. Well not the whole company just yet. FinChatBot is moving its client management and prospection teams to two new locations: Johannesburg & Paris
We always knew FinChatBot would eventually need presence in Johannesburg. The South African capital city is home to the largest corporates in the country and even Sub-Saharan Africa. What we didn’t expect was to sign one of South Africa’s largest insurance companies as our first client. So part of the team will be moving to Joburg in order to be closer to our current and prospective clients. We are extremely happy to announce that we were accepted in the AlphaCode family, the club for African FinTech entrepreneurs, and will have a team working out of their facilities. See you in Gauteng!
We officially launched in Paris a couple weeks ago. That is to say we have one desk at Le Cowork, a space in the 50 Partners Loft in central Paris. “It’s been such an exciting start. FinChatBot is addressing issues that the french financial industry is just starting to look at. The potential is incredible.” explains our European Business Developer. The numbers don’t lie: by 2020, 80% of French businesses will use chatbots to interact with their clients. FinChatBot aims to be a part of the latest French Revolution!
The start-up develops a chatbot platform, Holly, an artificial intelligence available on all devices and customizable to all marketing and design guidelines. We increase insurance companies conversion rates whilst reducing call centre costs. Customer queries pass through an instant messaging platform, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The objective is to best communicate a brand image and values through an interactive interface. The start-up has gained traction as some of its clients are top insurance companies operating in South Africa.
